Whether you prefer composite panels, rigid board insulation, fibreglass, or even rockwall, we have the means to suit your specifications. Having already satisfied many customers in our time, we are confident that you too will walk away happy.

Rigid boards are compact materials that possess excellent insulation characteristics and can be added to the ceiling, floors, roof and walls. They are brilliant at improving a property’s energy efficiency and come in numerous thicknesses. Naturally the thickest is the most energy efficient and locks in the most heat.

A myriad of rigid boards are used in buildings, with three varieties in particular proving to be very popular. PIR (polyisocyanurate) have astounding thermal properties, with the production process not emitting any kind of material that’s harmful to the environment. PIR has had extensive performance testing and is fire proof, making it a practical choice and one that meets current building regulations.

Phenolic boards, despite being made from an oil compound, are also fireproof. Something else that makes them an ideal addition to the structure is their low U values for a given level of thickness. They are slightly more costly but can prove to be a great investment.

Polystyrene boards have been used for years and enjoy a good history when it comes to thermal retention. Another appealing aspect is that this material can be shaped rather easily and due to its greater mainstream status, is a rather cheap option. If you do use them, one must exercise caution as they are flammable.

At Peter Wragge Supplies our rigid boards are guaranteed to meet and exceed your expectations, helping you to create first rate insulation systems.
